This home was the 2011 CH+D Design Awards winner for Residential Architecture (less than 3,000 sq. ft.). It’s one thing to design a home from scratch. It’s quite another thing to take “a French Country Tudor ranch” and completely transform it into a modern home, as Griffin Enright Architects did. And at just 2,000 square feet, the remodel was a progressive design on a conservative budget—about half the price of ground-up construction—and thus deserving of kudos on multiple levels.
