Must-See NY Gift Fair Finds from SF's Finest

We hit the aisles of the New York International Gift Fair, one of the largest housewares tradeshows in the US, at the end of January in search of the newest products from San Francisco designers. Check out our favorite finds!

Plastic canister company AMAC tapped the font designers of House Industries to spruce up their plain storage boxes. These display-worthy containers are available in a range sizes and colors.

Made of 100% recycled felt, these mini plant pods by Flip & Tumble have built-in liners to prevent water from leaking.

Artist Kim Smith of Smith & Co. scours flea markets and antique stores for vintage ephemera, which she carefully reproduces and frames. This bear print was a set of four children’s flash cards.


Kiss That Frog debuted a collection of simple yet chic white dinnerware.



Following the success of their smaller canvas buckets, Chewing the Cud has added an extra large size for stashing toys and laundry. The buckets are available in the six recycled canvas fabrics shown.

Cavallini & Co’s sticky note pads fit together to create a map of the world.


Made of food-safe silicone, these coasters by Modern-Twist can be personalized to double as place card holders. The ink will wash right off with soap and water.

The cow-shaped creamer got a makeover thanks to Paperproducts Design, which added whimsical shapes to its exterior.
